Hello. You could either get a DC power supply (to replace AC one) for your device or get an inverter, which would feed off of -48VDC and let you plug in 120VAC device. Good luck.

Start with stupid stuff - are the SFPs the same type and match to the fiber SM/MM? I know you said the connection worked for a few, but just in case. Are the devices close to each other? if so, the signal maybe too "hot" for reliable connection. You might need an attenuator. Just a thought.
