great suggestion ironhorse17 and great call out TR.
Facilities versus an RCDD on a network related issue. Classic bean counter $direction. Spend thousands on servers, routers and computers for very high paid people and install on the cheap.

The old timers & gurus in this group know it would work but are also smart enough to not say anything or try and talk you out of it. If (when) there is a problem later, it always seems to come back to the exception.

1. Personal issues should be separate from work related discussions
2. clearly define deliverables and objectives that need to be met by employee
3, with Item #2 defined, performance discussions against those D/O will be obvious and simple to measure

hold up the CAT5 cable end with the jack. Look at the CAT5 jack with the clip facing back. Note the color of the solid cables connecting to the jack from left to right. Match that same color pattern (left to right) on your far side CAT5 jack.

Usually plenum or PVC in conduit, CAT5e, tricky installs (trailer, trenching, poles), prevailing wage, technicians fingerprinted (your cost).
Take your usual cost per drop of voice/data and multiply by 1.2 to 1.5.
If you are a little more specific on what you need it might be easier to "hazard"...
Obviously there are also economies of scale. One drop is more expensive than averaging 36 drops if you include hangers and panels/blocks/management. Each project will be slightly different depending on the cable arrangement/hangers etc)but...on average:

I am putting together a spreadsheet and wanted to get a general feel from the forum on some values you have seen in your market for typical pvc voice/data/fiber installs. Thank you for the effort.

Robhub is correct about the antenna effect. But using STP for a typical UTP app may still work fine.

Just kidding, I like jimbopalmer's free solution.
By the way, I am certain many of the experts here wanted to say the same as my boob answer but had too much class to do so.

Serva and Syq are correct. You can run your own grid wires but you cannot use the existing ceiling grid, ever.

Cosmo,
I agree with recoa01 at 1.75 hrs per 3 cable (2 CAT6, 1CAT3). But remember there are economies of scale involved. Assume 30 pulls/term/doc of 3 cables the labor time might be around 48 hours or about 1.6 hrs each and 300 p/t/d might be around 420 hours or 1.4 hrs each. (note: estimates...
