I have a customer that is on Starlink internet and we are attempting to set up SIP trunks and move them off their PRI.
Outbound calling is working ok but customer had to enable SIP ALG on their Fortinet firewall to get that working. Seems odd as every other time, we have always disabled SIP...
Remove the 16 circuit card and seat the 8 circuit and see if those phones come up. Remove the 8 and seat the analog card. If all the cards work individually, it could also be a licensing issue. If it is a 9100S, it comes with 48 ports enabled so you should be ok, depending how many trunks...
Yah, it would have been nice if they kept the old websites (NTAC and LMS) active until the Forerunner ones were ready. I can understand them being offline for a day or two to make the transition, but they have been gone for several weeks now. No access to licenses or software, kind of a pain.
Anybody know what the latest software version is the the InDect service for the 9100?
I have one that is running 1.3.1 and saw there was at least version 1.6.1 out. Now that the NTAC website is offline, I have no idea where one can download updates.
If 14-01-24 is enabled, then it is not setup with your carrier. Works well when it works. Do it all the time for after hours on call. The on call person gets the original caller's number vs just the office number calling.
Anybody (probably only in Canada) use United Cloud SIP trunks on a SV9100?
Cannot get them to register. United Cloud offers registration via static IP or username and password. I have tried both but cannot get them to work. I had incoming working, then changed a setting (cannot recall...
Really, that's interesting. We order through NEC Canada and it ships from Dallas. In three months, I have received five phones and one CP20 upgrade kit. I have 15-16 upgrades apparently "back ordered"
Has anybody been getting equipment from NEC in a timely manner lately or anybody even getting a response as to why equipment isn't shipping?
We were told back in October that they moved their warehouse but things should be sorted in a week or two. Now they are saying the CP20 upgrade kits are...
Completely different cabinets, none of the cards/blades can be used between the IPK and the SV platforms. If you had an SV8100, some blades can be used in the SV9100 if you have the upgrade license.
For the phones, NEC has a terminal compatible list to show which models work between the platforms.
Anybody have version 3.0.4.0 firmware for the ITK-12D phones? NTAC is showing 3.0.3.0 as the last one available, but when I look in PcPro, some of my phones are at 3.0.4.0. and some are 2.0.4.0
Haven't been able to find version 3.0.4.0 to download.
The above info was from using the VMUAID in the debug tool. It didn't say much, just "Error in send_mail. Mail NOT sent"
Turns out i had fat fingered my DNS address, doh, lol.
Thanks for suggesting JBmail. I'll check it out for future issues.
Trying to setup voicemail to email on a 9100 with InMail. I have done it before and it isnt overly complicated.
I cannot get the system to deliver the email. I have run the debug tool and get the below error:
EmailService: received request, request - 2, client id - 0x6232b74, transaction id...
I have the remote WAN IP whitelisted as the only valid IP that can get through the firewall. Hopefully it is enough to keep the hackers away. Tough to stay one step ahead these days it seems.
