Is there anyway you can check an Oracle database and see what version was installed. What I mean is can you check something to see if Oracle Standard Edition was installed or whether it was Enterprise Edition. Thanks.

I have installed Oracle database and I chose the Enterprise Edition option when installing. I did this incorrectly and meant to install the standard edition. How can I "downgrade" this installation from Enterprise to Standard without deleting and reinstalling it. Thanks.

Hi, Using frename on my Windows 2003 server is extremely slow. To rename 1000 files takes about 1.5 minutes. On another Windows 2003 server a colleague has it takes 7 seconds. Has anyone got any ideas. Thanks

Renaming files in explorer is really slow. I have made sure the indexing service is off. Has anyone got any ideas what can be causing this. It has been getting worse over time.
