Convert File Format on .wpd File

no, the wpd association has not changed in folder options. Believe me! that was first place I looked. I even tried to change it to a .txt or .doc, just to see if I could open it. No such luck! Once I get an "unsupported file format" the document is essentially gone. I've gotten...

Convert File Format on .wpd File

I tried to open my WP doc in Word as well, I only get "boxes", no text. Not sure if NTFS has anything to do with that or not, just wanted you to know that it didn't work for me. Don't be too quick to make the change from Wordperfect to Word. I am fighting making the change because...

    Wordperfect 11 Ciipart

This is a simple solution if you have the storage space on your hard drive. Simply copy the contents of the clipart or graphics folder to a location on your hard drive. In "tools/settings" change the default location of graphics or clip art to that folder where you stored the...

How do you make sure that you don't overwrite a previous file when using it to make a new file?

    1. create a "new" document in wordperfect 2. Click "insert" and "file" 3. Choose the file you want to use information from from the file list. 4. Now when you save it, it won't have the name from the previous file, it will be a "new document" until you give it a new name...

Convert File Format on .wpd File

I am having the same problem as you. In this forum there are answers regarding enabling "indexing" of the files. If you are using Windows 2000 with NTFS partitions, this seems to be a common problem. What you should try is RIGHT click on the partition that has your wordperfect...

    unsupported file format

after reading all these posts about "unsupported file format", I had to let you know of my own issue. I have Wordperfect 2002 (v. 10) and a Windows 2000 network. We can create WP documents, save them with no errors but the next time we try to pull them up, we get "unsupported...
