It may be a DNS problem. Try doing a ping to portal.hostgator.com and see if your DNS servers resolve it to (today it was 50.87.240.139) then try the URL in your browser address bar.

it seems odd that the DOC can't use analog phones to release since you can select a digit to release the door but this may just be for the 7100 or 7208 phones.

will a door opening controller work with analog phones? it seems that the cordless phones are having a problem with dialing the 6 to release the door. I am going back out in the am to check the dip switches on the DOC but it should have been default (6)

kmpp: other 800 and 715 area code numbers do work so it probably isn't that simple
PerryPJ: I agree with you but couldn't see a way to prove it, the customer already had the 2nd tier tech support pull the records and ATT says not their problem

Curley: only five telephone numbers are dropping the calls, two in the 715 area code, 0ne in the 612 area code, one 800 and one 866

This MICS has been running...
I have a customer that has 5 telephone numbers that dial out get a ringback then drop the call
the Carrier says that the MICS is dropping the call but I cannot see anything that would be causing it
occasionaly the call will connect and work fine
other telephone numbers work fine
the intercom...
Check for a blown fuse on the 12X0 also

I downloaded the Maintenance console and put it same place
with the console running I plugged in the voicemail, got a found new hardware popup went to the c:/program/panasonic location to load...
