i have an older IBM that needs to be rebuilt, all existing HD's have been backed up, labeled and tagged with new drives... problem is i cant figure out how to setup or configure a new HMC server to interact with it, and i can configure the new HD's for a new array...
i guess my biggest issue is...

i connected to the proper container, went thru the levels and found the First Administrative Group, and everything contained within...
ive read a few different articles, most say to just delete the SERVER entry and the 'branches' below it...
the command shows no results...

clean-mailboxdatabase "Mailbox Database"

'cut, paste' or 'move' leaves the origional permissions, which isnt bad if im going from the open directory to the closed one... but if i go from the closed directory to the open one, files cant be read becase they still hav...
ive gone thru and re-set all permissions and all access is currently correct, but i still have an issue when a file gets moved from one directory to another, the permissions are not changing to reflect the new directory its in
