Can you post the MBAM log file, it should furnish some clues.
The Steam error is probably down to a .dll? replaced by a cracked version from the Skidrow malware/patch, reinstalling Steam should fix that.
The Synergy synwinhk.dll problem is also likely to be related to the patching, probably...
The W10 download/install updates from previous Windows Updates are usually responsible for that. The easiest solution is probably GWX Control Panel, download.
