    Is he on crack?

Crack? Well, this isn't definitive proof. I've seen this before. Likely he is attempting to run sav ann on the switch (P1 screen) rather than Audix itself (P2). The switch requires you to specify the individual announcement board, whereas sav ann from Audix saves all boards.

Any AVAYA business partners should be scared!

We had a brief problem with billing & Expanets. The thorn in our side regarding billing is however Avaya. They've been raping us on charges for over a year now, and no one is willing to help, or will take ownership of the problem to resolution. Well, at least until I got my vendor to tell...

    Security+ Certification

I would still suggest the Security+, as it is also vendor neutral, and will put you above other applicants, assuming you are job hunting, who don't have the cert.

    Security+ Certification

The CISSP is likely the best known and hardest to obtain. Their application standards are stringent, and costly. If memory serves correclty, there is a manditory bootcamp/study group before you are eligable to take the exam. Their point is they don't want to water down their cert, and have...

    Which certs should come first?

For companies like Campyracr's you might want to check out the linux+ cert. I agree with him. Not everybody loves Bill and his software. If you are looking for a job, the MCSE isn't a bad thing to have, at the same time, if you know what platform a company uses, you can save yourself some time...

Avaya Swallows Expanets .....now what ?

Hey been there done that. Well the snipping anyway. 2 layoffs in 2 years. It's just a dandy economy!

Agreed Buckweet. We have other facilities across the US where Expanets is stellar, just here, at our corporate offices, things are not well.

PA. The expanets here are embarassingly slow to respond, and when they do, I've gotten techs who are so green they still have lables on their clothes.

I don't know which is worse. The billing practices of Avaya, or the service I get from the local expanets office. Hopefully, things will improve on both counts.

    Vectors ingnoring coverage paths

Check your COR. Perhaps rather than a cov path that sends them off network you might consider another vector.
