And to answer the other part of your question about activation. The "Corporate Versions" of Windows products like XP Pro, Office, etc require no activation.
That's how I learned too. Took it home and played on it, did not sell it or give it away.... Now Microsoft makes more money...
I think you misunderstand the 533 and 800 mhz. That number is the fsb speed inside the proccessor, not the processor speed itself.
As long as it has a socket 370 and says celeron compatible you are set, may need a bios upgrade if its an older board, but new ones will be no problem.
Take care !
Hey,
The GD means its a "Gold Version" amd as far as I can tell it means you get some extra software with it. Specs aren't any different.

Happy Holidays!
Are you sure???
I also am in the boat of having to recertify soon. But my understanding is that you have to take a test with a 642- prefix to qualify.
I am studying SECUR 642-501 for this.
Take care.
Sounds like perhaps a simple DNS issue. If you put the web sites IP address in the IE address bar does it give you the web pages then? If so, your DNS servers ( or the ISP's DNS servers) are not doing thier job.
Let us know...
Hi all.
I can find no pattern here. But I see code (not a lot, but some) at the top of some web pages. Some of my pc's don't do this, others do. A friend said an IE update will fix this but I searched technet and found nothing on it.
Any of you had this before?
Please advise!
Hi All,
Need some help here. I've been trying to look up the answer on my own, figure I'll learn more that way, but I can't really find what I want. I may not be asking for the right search terms. So here goes...
Cisco 2610 , these are at remote sites, connecting to my hosts at corp office...
That's a headache I've had to deal with for years. ON Vanguards you pick and choose the feature sets you want when creating an OS image to load onto the unit, depending on what you want to do, memory in the unit, etc. One of these "features" gets you right to the menu and one just...
I hear registration for this one is closed now. Fortunately I was able to register for this one and the 76-215. I'll take 76-210 Tuesday 27th and 76-215 June 2nd. I've been studying my butt off and have worked with Win2k for about 2 years now. Luckily I have a lot of network experience too...
Wait a minute here...
LoyBoy says he scores a 640, but he failed the test.
nlm9802 says 600 is passing? Management? I'll buy that.
I could not find the passing score on Microsoft's site.
A quick search on Google shows passing scores starting from 540 to 710.
A lot of confusion on this subject.
I'm a little unsure of this one, it could be bad sockets on the motherboard but Asus is one of the better motherboard builders so that is not my first guess. My first hunch is that the memory is not compatible with the motherboard. I've seen this more and more lately myself. It may be good...
That V2.0 is good news for you ! That means the mobo will take 400mhz fsb Athlon XP Barton chips when they come out and it also means your board can be set for DDR400 ram as well. I know that DDR333 is faster right now because of the 333 fsb chips and overhead of dual channel but with a 400fsb...
My advice is to re-flash the bios. Go to the mobo board manufacturer website and get the latest... then flash and save all default settings, reboot and change your settings to what you want them to be. On changing the vid card IRQ set your bios for manual, then change the irq on PCI 1 , thats...
