    Hi, i have a dell lattitude C600 running Windows 2000 Profesional. For some reason it will run fine for a couple minutes, and then either freeze or just shut off. I ran a hardware DX test and everything seems to have passed. Anyone have any sugestions? Thanks,

    Hi garebo.. sorry for the confusion in the earlier email.. I just found a work around. I used the "ultimate boot CD" not sure if you are familiar with that. It has a maxtor hard drive utility on it which recognizes the 80GB and let me format it. After that i put the system restore cd back...

    Hi, I was wonder if there is a way to rename a computer thru regedit. I have a bunch of computers on the network that I need to rename, and i would rather do it behind the scenes with desktop authority instead of actually letting everyone know that i am logging on to their desktop. Thanks, Tim
