To get into the impact on your laptop, a communications program needs to be used. Procomm can work, or I have used hyper-terminal as well. Depending on your version of impact, there are different ways to connect. You need to connect to a comm port, either diectly to a comm port on some...
I would say that the extension is call forwarded to the operarors extension. Either cancel cfwrd at that extension, or cfwrd it back to itself. Good Luck... Tony Misiak (Tony the Phoneman)
If you have a test (butt) set you can pull the cable from the moh port and put your butt set leads on the end of cable and hear if there is any music from the source. If you do, then the problem is in the phone system. If you don't, then the problem is in the moh cable or the music source. Good...
First of all, I'd like to know if it ever worked for you? Secondly, check the programming for M.O.H. in system programming. I believe you need to allow it as well as set the volume through programming. Good Luck... Tony Misiak (Tony the Phoneman)

On the DHS you need a 1/8 inch mono to mono patch cord (you can get these at radio shack). Open the cabinet with the 4 phillips head screws and on the right hand side you will see an input for MOH. Plug it in there and route your patch cord out of the cabinet to your music source. Good luck...
I would say move the mail card to slot 4 and the 400 card to slot 2 and reconfigure your V.M. ports. Tony Misiak (Network Services Group,www.callnsg.com
Definitley check out the IVX128+ at www.esi-estech.com. This is the most user-friendly system out there, and has all of the features you would ever need. Once you see this system, you will not know how you ever lived without it!! Tony Misiak (Network Services Group,www.callnsg.com
The manual says if you add more cards to a system with voicemail, you must relocate the voicemail to the last available slot after the new cards are installed. I hope this helps.
Do yourself a favor and go to www.esi-estech.com and look at the IVX128+. We have 4 offices in our state and we dial a link on our intercom for another office and we are on there system's intercom and dial the extension# of the person we are looking for. We don't have to dial them through dial...
Do not pass up the IVX128+ system from ESI. This sounds like the best solution for you!!! You can go to www.esi-estech.com and view it and also find a reseller in your area Good luck...
