Hi,
iperf is the best tool under Windows for stress testing regading storm control. Create a static ARP mapping for a IP to the MAC FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF to test controlled broadcasts at layer two with your Cisco 2950.

and why show the SBU 512 MB per Channel. 256 MB is the Datasheet value i found - but there are 4 DIMM Slots for Capture RAM available. Two slots for Channel A and two slots for Channel B.
So the question is what is the maximum of Channel capture buffer supported by the SBU? 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB...
Hi Sniffer Folks,
does anybody from the old days of Network General/NAI or now Netscout knows how far we can increase the Channel Buffer Size of a Snifferbook Ultra with GBE/PoS(i know it's EoS/EoL)?

Hi Sniffer-Community,
anybody here as a E1 Module for the old Snifferbook / Wanbook available for selling or it is not longer needed. I can offer other modules like RS/V, T1 or ISDN BRI.
Looking forward
Thanks
Werner

Hi,
anybody have experiences with the Sniffer Portable 4.9 MR1? In my case i received only a Blue Screen with Win XP SP2. I know that MR2 is right now available but i have only MR1 for testing.

Hi,
it's saved in the registry of the Windows System and not in a flat file. Have a look here.

Hi Rinky123,
0xB8 --> 1011 1000 (binary) --> 184 decimal
DSCP 0x2E --> 10 1110 (the most 6 significant Bits)
184 / 4 = 46
and ECN are the 2 least significant Bits and normally zero
