Hi all,
I'm new here, I need to update the firmware version of the phone in object because in the environment (KX-NS500) where I've installed these phones it have a strange behavior, after some minutes that the phone has started if from another extension of the system I call the caller hear the the control tone of the call but the phone called doesn't ring.
Through the web access administration of the system I saw that the firmware version is different from the other phones that instead work fine so I suppose that it could depend on the firmware.
I need also the procedure to execute the update.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance for a kind help

Your problem is quite simple: with the phone on the hook, press the "MUTE" button. If it is lit (red LED), you are in automatic answer mode. If it is off, the phone rings (this is only for internal calls).

Or check that forced automatic answer is disabled! (Off)

Before everything many thanks EMJP for your quickly and kindness reply!
I think that in my previous post I was not able to explain well the issue; the called phone doesn’t answer itself to the call but if the user can imagine that his phone are ringing and he lift the headset he can answer…
Thinking better about the issue I saw also that the involved phones have a different class of IP addresses than the PBX (different VLAN) so I suppose that I’ve to deactivate DHCP on the phone and set an address on the same VLAN of the PBX; strange things is that the phone is able to register to the PBX but can’t receive the SETUP ACK for the incoming call.”
