I know it's possible(I have the alarms log), but do not have an answer as to why, so if someone could enlighten me.
I lost the control network (A&B), on a carrier that has no trunking, copper or IP back to any other port-networks...but did not lose the voice, they could still make calls...
Is anyone out there using Avaya's SRM (Software Release Management) service? If so, what are your likes and dislikes? What security obstabcles did you have to overcome? How many systems are they maintaining for you?

I've seen two threads (1 Cisco, 1 Nortel) recently where people are trunking individual switchports for voice and network connectivity. I'm curious at to why you are doing it this way.
We are having a problem staying connected to our S8700 via ASA after we upgraded to CM3.1.1 from CM2.1. The system will disconnect us after we have been idle for "usually" more that 2 hours. Has anyone had this issue or know how to resolved it?

I have IP Trunking set up between two sites via our WAN link with PSTN as a secondary in the route pattern. My problem is when the WAN link is flapping but not down, the calls are not routing to the second choice in the route pattern. We have to go in and manually take the trunk-group OOS...

I've successfully upgraded my individual phone to V4 using the FAC, is there a way to push this update to the other phones. We have about 3500 phones and at 4 minutes per phone, one phone at a time....well you get the point.

I am running a G3xV11 S8700 Media Server and have a problem with a coverage path. I have standard cover path set up for extension 5555 with the first point of coverage being 6666. When the call goes to coverage, the line is still showing a rining status on 5555 while actively ringning 6666...
