I have set auditing on the DCs, and most events are logged fine. However, some audit event 644s are coming back with a blank caller machine name.
e.g.
Event Type: Success Audit
Event Source: Security
Event Category: Account Management

Is their anyway of sharing public folders without domain trusting in place?
We are an offshot of a large corporation and would like to shared their contact folders (and them share ours) but don't want to give any admin control over to them (ie. domain control)

We have two SMC2682W EZ Connect in two different buildings, having problems with all the laptops disconnecting from the wireless network.
Randomly (sometimes every 5/10 mins) a message will popup saying the wireless network has been found, and you have to click connect.

Having a problem with laptop users and NB 3.5. Randomly NB decideds to recatalog and process the whole drive, rather than just copying the changed files. This seems to be occuring only on laptop machines, but is causing lots of problems.
Any suggestions?

All machines are using public address, all internet access is proxied. Firewalled on the internet side.
DNS server is a NT4.0 machine. IP forwarding appears to be set to 3 external (ie. internet DNS)...
SETUP:
Windows 2000 SP3 multihomed server with 1x 10Base2 run. Cable wasn't installed by myself but guestimating length is around 150metres. The cable is underground - its unknown whether there could be EMF interference.

Normal users on Windows 2000 clients are having problems with Sage. Its not allowing them to use the ODBC connection to the database. A administrator account works OK. Any ideas where you set ODBC security - so I can allow normal users access?
