On my XP Pro computer when I click on My network Places instead of loading the network it does a search everytime, even when I've gone into a folder and hit the back button. This takes 2 or 3 minutes a time. Anyone now how to stop this?
How do these get on a computer? A client has been getting alot of these since June 1st. I've uninstalled MIRC (serveral were variations of trojans that used it), stopped Windows Messanger, they don't use Outlook or Outlook Express. They are behind a router with a firewall.

A coworker has XP on his office machine, he has been sharing his printer with two other 98 machines. On Friday it started requiring a password when any machine(including his ) tries to access the printer. No one set up a password.

I installed a new hard drive on a XP Home machine, I choose NTSF then it asked about the cluster size(I think),512k, 1mg, 2mg, or 4mg(I may have the k and mg wrong). I choose 2mg. What does this mean and which one should I have choosen?
I have a Giga-Byte GA-5SG100 mobo. I installed 256mg of SDRAM and it will only see 128mg of it. The manual says it will support this chip but I can find nothing about this problem in the manual or the BIOS.
