    Merge pictures by gradient

    I think this was asked recently, but just can't find the thread... It was an answer to someone who wanted to know how to interweave pictures, and the suggested method involved gradients... Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm sure it was somewhere in this forum.

    Switch on G3 - chimes ok as usual - monitor screen grey - and nothing happens. Same happens with extensions off. Won't restart from system CD. Is it the hard disc?     Anyone recommend a scsi/firewire adapter (for Mac)? I have an external LaCie scsi hard drive (connected by scsi) which I would like to run via a firewire port (card recently fitted).
