    You are correct. AS/SET is still being used by SSA to generate most of their BPCS code. I think it has been updated for their newer versions of BPCS to actually generate RPG IV code. We are running BPCS so I am still using it. Not bad for screen programs. Needs work for report programs...

    If it wasn't for adding the century to the date, it can be done by converting the date with the digits operator and then concatenating the date in correct format with a series of substring operands. Is it a necessary requirement that the date be M/D/CY?

    e-Mail sent from iSeries 400 V5R1

    I am currently doing something similar to this. I have a program that generates a list of a customers part numbers and gives them inventory status on those parts. I then copy the spool file to a document (in the IFS) and then attach that document to an email that is being sent via the AS/400.
