Upon further review, it initializes the first instance and gives an error about windowless controls on the second.

NTVDM is the "virtual Dos manager" in Windows. It is your dBase window. I used to have any windows apps open I would need before opening a DOS window to get around it.
I have two controls on a form that reference the same activeX control. After the Application.Run(myForm), one of the controls works, the other does not. The code in the constructor of the form is exactly the same for both controls. Can you have two instances of an external ActiveX control on...
The servers are in fast food restaurants. There's enough grease in a restaurant to choke any piece of electronic equiptment to death within a couple of years. They are each on a UPS. Mangement will not spend the money to set up a "clean" environment for these computers to run in, no...

Hello all,
I'm trying to figure out how to install a PCI modem in a 4.11 (sp7) machine. I tried out installing the new version of AIOCOMX.ADI and AIOCOMX.NLM v 2.18. It bombs out when I try to set the port=PCI. Anyone with any insights?
Thanks in advance,
BKtechie

Hi,
I'm attempting to get a perl script to work on Win98. Unfortunately, when I make calls to the system, it bombs out. Are there utilities that will erase files available without calling the command prompt? Any ideas would be much appriciated.
