I am writing a script to change network settings for a user. I need to enable/disable a network component (the Check Point SecureClient component). Anyone have an idea of how to do this with a script?

ssphoenix, I've had a lot of luck with the HP JetAdmin tool, available for download from HP. It hooks up with the MAC address rather than the IP address. Try it out. Andrew

I agree with mikes999 and peterve, rather than put yourself through an upgrade process, try the simple things first. Might save you pulling out your hair while you're trying to figure out the new MS DC setups. Andrew

MonkeyLizard, Check your SQL server documentation. If memory serves (it's been quite a while) you can tune the SQL server to reserve the amount of memory, disk space, etc you need to run correctly. Hope that helps some, Andrew

Nostradamus, Sorry I took so long to reply to the post. Yes, we obtained the firmware upgrade from the Yamaha site. You will need either a DOS or Win 95 boot disk in order for it to work. Andrew

Yes, we performed the upgrade here in our lab. No problems, runs like a charm.

We had a similar problem with our Yahama 4/4/16. We obtained an upgrade to the firmware from Yamaha and the problem went away. Andrew
