A sample database was available on the earlier install media (at least to 3.x) Did not realize Micros had removed it from the install options (if they did) This would probably be the best bet to grab it and convert it to your current version.
You would need to find it in transaction analyzer or put it together from the journals. If they have mymicros you can find it there as well. Hope this helps
Have you tried wiping the workstation / doing a reset? Has to be done through the bios option not through windows. Try that and recal. Also assume you have looked for ip conflicts?
