Can anyone point me in the right direction for a battery backup solution for our iPECS 100 system.
We have an MFIM100 and a BRIM4.
What sought of VA would I need to keep just the phone system up to record voice messages for around 2 hours?
Thanks.
Hi SteveBUK,
That option would solve my problem completely.
On the web interface I only have up to option 75 (VSF MSG Date/Time)
The version I am running MFIM/AU95M-E.0Dr APR/09
Is it possible this feature was added later?
(Disclaimer: I am not a phone technician, I just like to tinker with stuff I shouldn't)
The way I set this up is:
I have my VSF group set to 625
I set up a circular Station Group 630 that we use for after hours messages.
I have the overflow timer set to 0 seconds and the overflow destination...
I don't think the problem is happening with the Exchange server.
We receive between the range of 30 minutes to 1 hour of messages per night which are cleared every morning. The iPECS 100 can handle up to 200 minutes (minus custom messages) of audio which we are not even getting close to.
The...
I finally made the change away from our analog tape machines and started using the inbuilt voicemail of our ipecs system.
This has been running for several weeks now and we have received over 1000 voicemails during this time.
I have a huge problem that is causing issues that has now happened...
Hi doktor,
I am located in Melbourne, Australia.
I know enough about how the system is configured to be able to reconfigure it myself. The only problem would be timing as we receive a lot of inbound calls (isdn) 24 hours a day.
I would probably have to do it early on a Sunday morning.
At the...
Hi everyone,
I did a search for this but I cannot find any information.
I think the company that we purchased the iPECS-100 off has gone out of business. I have been repeatedly trying to get in contact via mobile, land-line and email and have not had a response for a while.
Firstly, is there...
I tried to be sneaky and upload an individual prompt but it wouldn't let me.
You can upload and download all of the System Greetings as a ROM but I think it would be difficult to edit them.
Hi doktor, thank you for the quick reply.
When I press (on the System Attendant handset)
[TRANS/PGM] 0 6
The display reads "ENTER SYS NUM (001-072)" and wont let me edit the ones from 073 onwards.
Is it possible to turn off or change the stored system prompts on an iPECS system?
I am finally making the leap to using the integrated VSF for our after hours messages but do not like how the system prompts the user:
1. (Custom recorded message) "Thanks for calling leave your message after...
I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction in finding an answering machine that suits our business needs.
We currently receive aproximately 120 minutes per night of after hours messages which are orders for our customers. These orders are around five to ten minutes each and the...
Thank you for the reply.
I am definitely considering it in the near future.
I have not been able to find any documentation on how the voice mail playback system works.
My main concern is the ability to rewind the message back about 1 to 5 seconds. Our after hours messaging service allows our...
Hi everyone,
I please excuse my post I am not very familiar with telephony technology.
We have had an iPECS-100 system installed for a few months. We receive our calls through a BRIM module which then goes to an STLM8 module that we use to hook up three tape answering machines to take all our...
Thanks that requery command worked. Using it on the on the Close event was a good idea as well. Originally I thought I was going to put it on the GotFocus event of the main form but this is a better idea. Thankyou.
I have a form in tabular view where you can click a button to go to a detail view. In detail view you can delete the record. Once I delete the record and go back to the main form it still has the old record there but with the values as #Deleted #Deleted. I have tried to requery the form but it...
I am making a tabular form where you data enter stats for a driver. They have a DriverID (in a combobox) which is like "31031" then the next driver would be "31054" they arent in order so its not as simple as incrementing the driverID. How do you carry over the ListIndex value and increment it...
