Hey folks,
We have a new 2003 domain(A) and a 2000 domain (B) we are trying to setup a one way trust on. Domain (A)is to trust Domain (B), when trying to setup the outgoing trust on the 2003 domain (A) I am receiving the folowing error.
The verification of the outgoing trust failed with the following error(s):
The trust password verification failed with error 1787: The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship.
A secure channel reset will be attempted.
The secure channel reset failed with error 1787: The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship.
I can see the other domain via My Network Places and can ID the domain controller for domain (B) from Domain (A). When attempting to set the trust from the other domain I am getting a Failure Aduit error in the security logs
