Access 97 Table Links

Question for anyone:

Using Access '97, I have an application which uses links to external database tables (usually located locally in the same folder). However, I often "copy" this database application to another central computer and want the linked tables to look at the identical database tables in the copy of the same file as the original location, in the new location. Basically, I'm looking for the equivalent of a "relative link" to a database table. Does this feature exist in MS Access '97?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Links are always absolute paths; you cannot use relative paths.

There is code here which allows you to select a new location if the current link is invalid.
