Have a client who is still using Access 2.0 , soon to be upgraded. No major problems but a very slow startup, just getting into Access with certain user active directory profiles. MS Access will load after 3 minutes, and is fine once loaded. If it is closed, and reloaded, the reload is instant. The startup is just to get into Access, it is not loading any databases. Profile recreation corrected the problem for a week on a wks, now the problems back. The group "everyone" has the change permissions on the Ms directory and the Windows temp directory. Any Ideas?

Thanks

Check the permissions for a suer that is ok and one that isn't, and see if there are differences.

Other than that, make sure .mdb and ldb files are EXCLUDED from your virus scanner setup - they can cuase huge problems.
