I have an option 61c. We have a couple of site in another state that we have a shoretel on the far side. When we call between the offices we can use 4 digit dialing. As of this afternoon if you dial the 4 digits you see the name and extension on the phone but it does not do anything>>> call or busy out. If you dial the 10 digit number it rings through to them. Here is a copy of one of the acd's. Please I need help in getting this resolved. We do not use a call center. I am not filmilar with acd's.

3066 is an extension at the other site. 805 must be something. Possible a Route Access Code.

Try to dial 8053066 and see what you get.

Do a LD 20 "DNB" on "805". It is possible the route between the sites is down.

Here is the DNB on 805:

what do i look for next press list commands.
Thank you

What does this mean?

DTA021 14

DCH: 8 RLS RED ALRM TIME: 18:02:00 27/02/2012

This will all start to add up soon. The DAT021 14 means "Look at PRI Loop 14, it is acting up". DCH 8 RLS RED ALARM is probably related.

We now know Route 5 is how the calls go out - let's see what it is. Do what I am doing here:

REQ: ltm
CUST 0
ROUT 5

TYPE TLST

ROUT 5

TN ??? 01 MBER 1
TN ??? 02 MBER 2
continued
etc. etc.
[/tt]

See the ??? fields above? That (or those if many) are the "Loops". If 14 is in the ??? field, that is a problem.

Next, go to LD 60. I'm going to "STAT 87" in my system. On yours, STAT the loop you saw in the LD 21 LTM list. Maybe it includes 14?

In my example, the loop is up, and I noticed that my DCH is 8. I bet yours is 8 too.

If this is making sense, you might notice that the route to your other location is down. RED ALARM will occur if you simply unplug the PRI. Or, if the network appears gone.

nation!
I think that must have meant there was an alarm and it released.
Where is this an alarm for and how to monitor?
Thank you much
