brightness adjustment 1

I have a video shot with wrong camera settings, it is very bright, with people dressed in white on a shiny white background, very hard to see. What are the best effects to use and the recommended values(setting) for the effect?
I have used Adjust brightness/contrast, Opacity and Luma key, which achieved an improvement but still I would need to improve it more

You will be very lucky top get back to a 'normal' picture after such a mishap.

The Levels effect may give you another useful adjustment. It allows you to keep peak white and black levels, but alter the midpoint mapping, which often gives a much better result that using brightness/contrast.
