Calendar in deleted items can't be deleted

Hi,

One of our users on exchange 2003 somehow moved or deleted their calendar and it is now showing up in the deleted items folder.

Outlook will not allow us to actually delete it, moved it or anything now that it is in the deleted items.

A second/new calendar was created at some point and is being used as the active calendar, but when we try and share this users calendar it can't be accessed from any other user...we get a error saying it 'can't be found'.

It appears the the real 'original' calendar is the one showing up in deleted items, is there some what to move/restore it back to its original place... or how can we get rid of it and re-create a new one that will allow us to share it?

MDBVU32 might allow you to delete the one in deleted items.

Then maybe 'Outlook /Resetfolders' would re-create the proper calendar folder

outlook /resetfolders should sort out both folders then Outlook can delete the deleted items without resorting to mdbvu32.

Sorry, for not responding back to you. Thanks for the suggestions. This user has been away and since they have a large amount of emails I've been reluctant to mess with this too much.

As soon as I have a chance I will see if one of those two options will work.
