If anyone knows how to stop Novell Client 32 updates from
trashing my databases (I'm a CA-Clipper Developer), I'd
really appreciate it. Is there some NLM that needs to
be loaded that previous versions of Netware didn't require?
I've had my software running on several Netware Servers
for years without problems. Now that some customers are
upgrading to Client 32 it seems to be reeking havoc with
my database files and I've spent many long hours trying to
find out how to fix the problem without success. If anyone
out there knows what to do, PLEASE HELP! Thanks alot.
We run client32 and Clipper all over the place,
with no problems.

I'm not sure about any of these...BUT for ALL our
Clipper apps... Config.sys or Config.nt contains:

device=c:\windows\himem.sys
device=c:\windows\emm386.exe noems
files=199
buffers=30

In Autoexec.bat or autoexec.nt...include
set clipper=e000 (those are zeros. copy spacing exactly)
