Who are the market leaders here? How is Sharepoint doing? How are the competition's products different in how they are focusing on customers (small teams vs. big companies?). Thanks, David

Sharepoint Portal Server is $4k and other document management software with a web portal is closer to $500k so nothing really comes close to the functionality. Dan

Don't forget that SharePoint Team Services is "free" - comes with FrontPage 2002. I have found it great for setting up office team and project sites as well as personal web groups for churches, etc. where you don't need the full functionality of Sharepoint Portal.

And it works on Windows 2000/XP Professional as well.
