I have created a report in CR8.5, after having to start the Job Server and Page Server manually I can schedule a report to run, and this works Ok, but I can not run the same report on demand, initially after 5 minutes IE5 would time out, but have amended this problem to alter the timeout time via microsoft's web site, has any body had this problem before?

I am connecting to a Progress database via ODBC using the Merant driver supplied by Progress, the same driver is also shipped with CR8.5, I have contacted Crystal and after 3 weeks they still can not help, so can you ?

It seems the JobServer works properly since it responsible for Scheduled Job. But the PageServer not function very well.

Try to run the CacheServer, PageServer and JobServer with Console mode. To perform this, you can

go to Crystal Management Console
stop these three servers
check the properties' command,copy the whole string,
then open a DOS prompt
'paste' the string in the DOS prompt by right click
you can see '-service' in the command, change it to '-console' and press enter, you will see the console mode of that server.
Repeat doing these by opening three DOS prompt for three servers.

If you want to quit the console mode, type "quit" and it will return to DOS prompt. And the 'service' will stop.

Please let me know your 'progress database' running on which plaform.
