Hi all, hope some one can help

I have created an interface with buttons etc for a website using PS7 then used the export option to get it into a web format. I used the HTML & Images. Basically when it saves to web there is white feathering along all the edges of the image, being that its on a dark back ground it looks really unprofessional.

Where am i going wrong. The only way to keep a transparent inmage is to go with GIF (as far as I know) an this seems to be causing the problems.

Help.

Thanks all

Dave

Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Prepare your images/buttons etc on the same colour background as your web page. Best keep to web safe colours.
Don't use the transparency function - just slice up leaving the dark background showing. When it's on your page you won't see the slice edges.
However this only works if your page background is an overall solid colour

Or if you must use the transparency set the matte color to the same color as you background. What you are seeing is the matte.

Wow JT that almost looked like you knew what you were doing!
