freehand quitting when saving

I am using Freehand 9 on a mac and occasionally when I try to save a file freehand just crashes and a file called temp 0 appears in the folder I was trying to save to. This file is zero k and I can't open it. Does anyone know a way to stop this happening or a reason why it is happening in the first place?

You could try updating to 9.0.2.

Are you saving a file or Exporting it ?

Was it an install or borrowed copy ? If you can't fix it in 20 call someone who can.
