I'm just learning Ruby using the guide at and I'm having a problem with the first thing I've been told to do. It's just 'put 1+2', I saved it as calc.rb like the guide says, and opened it with my command prompt. I get ;Bad command or file name'. Any help appreciated.

The file should contain
puts 1+2
not
put 1+2

In the command-line interface, type
[tt]
ruby calc.rb
[/tt]
