I attempting to make an form with a few vertical and several horizontal lines with text on the horizontal lines. How do I do this? I have two manuals and find nothing.
By the way, I am using version 3.32 on PC. Since I am using PC, do the extension apply to me or is it something that I have to purchase additionally. I really do not care to make any additional purchases.
Go to quark.com and search the downloads for extensions - these are free add ons for Quark to allow you to do cool stuff quickly. I can't find a tables one though...
Not sure if this will help your situation, but it's a little work-around I use for when I need evenly spaced horizontal and vertical lines (like a table). I make a text box and in the measurements palette set the columns to the number of columns across that I need. Then I make a small text box, rotate it 90 degrees, and set the number of columns to the number of rows that I need. Then I stretch it to fill the size of the table. On both boxes, I set the gutter width to the smallest setting, use the gutter lines as a guide to draw horizontal & vertical lines with the line tool, then delete them and insert separate tiny boxes into each cell.
You could probably do the same by stepping and repeating a line, but who wants to do all the math?
