Ever since I switched over to AppleWorks on my iMac, all the letters, in al fonts, are very scrunched up. How do I regulate the spacing between letters?

Anyone's help will be appreciated.

will separate the characters a bit but I'm not certain what you mean by "scrunched"?? Did you convert from Claris 5 or from a MS product??

Does the text appear the same on screen as in printed documents??

Are you using any Adobe font management products on that machine like Adobe Type Manager?

EDIT | PREFERENCES | GENERAL | TEXT | and check off Fractional Character Widths.

Just some thoughts. Hope they assist.
