Hi

I know there is a way to do this but I cant remember how to do it, its driving me nuts!!

My problem is simple- If I draw a line the default for the line will be *none* ( ie no line ) and the colour will be *white. How do I change these defaults- bcos everytime I wnat to make a new line or a fill etc the default is *white or *none which means that I have to keep appplying the colour and fill etc- this is not a life threatening problem its just that its very annoying having to keep applying styles.

Thank you for reading... any ideas?

Make sure you have nothing selected - click in an empty area of your workspace. Then click the fill or stroke box in the inspector or color list, and choose the color you want. This will become the default for new shapes. This works for fonts as well.
