Installed color cartridge..has a noise

I just install a color cartridge in Printer and it is printing fine but has a grinding noise as it swings back and forth....not sure what position the small part with the spring should be in...it is now positioned pointing and inside the cartridge holder....Thank You...Sylvia Parish

which printer? check the clutch. it gets stuck on a lot of printers hp makes.
