International calling 1

I have 2 clients that are not being able to call to Beijing, China from USA. they say thy have been about to call China before.
just not this country or city code. What do I need to look for?
What ld and what commands. Or any other idea on what to do. I have 1 on NCOS 4 and 1 on NCOS 7?

What country are your clients in?

Most problems calling China from the USA are at the carrier level (the long distance carrier). If you can call major cities but not other areas, call the carrier and tell them to fix.

NCOS is not the same between PBXs. Your NCOS 3 might have more capabilities than my NCOS 5. Here is BARS 101 on NCOS and FRL:

make sure you have the appropriate dialed digits defined in ESN. In LD 90, do you have a 011 86 SPN defined for china? It is possible that someone defined specific city codes as well, ie. 011 8610 for Beijing. In that case, your users would only be able to dial those city codes that have been entered. Better to have just 011 86 in the SPN table.
