I'm not sure I understand the question here???
Are you using a dial-up telephone connection?
By "IP supplier" I am assuming you are refering to your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
What type of dialing interface are you using for connecting? FreePPP or some proprietary from the ISP?
If you say more I might be able to direct you.
