Ok I am having a problem with a new install. Switch is IP Office 500v2 8.0 (16) no installed licenses running partner mode.
Heres the call path
Incoming CO calls ring on 4 stations immedietely
VMS Cover is on 4 rings, lines are assigned to AA1 in all modes hunt schedule is always
Only using AA1 the prompts are set to use the out of office prompt for all menu's
Greeting is recorded using 7851 and saved, when called using 7851 the greeting can be played and heard
HOWEVER:
On incoming calls the call rings 4 times, hits the vm and there is nothing, just dead air. The inactivity timer expires and transfers to the dial 0 destination. Interestingly its not like it plays the greeting then the timer expires, it only sits on dead air for as long as the timer is set.
I have formatted and re-created the SD card in case there was some kind of corruption.
Anyone have any ideas?

Make sure Morning, Afternoon, and Evening checkboxes are unchecked. Just for kicks, try recording a prompt on 7841 and see if the AA greeting plays for Menu Prompt. I've seen it where even though it's within the specified time profile and a greeting is recorded to the respective time, it still only plays the Menu Prompt at 7841.

That's it, wow that's so not cool the vm can only play that one prompt.

The joys of Partner Mode...glad it worked out for you though.

upgrade to latest r8 software before deploying.
