maildir problem.

im using posfix for my smtp server.. then i choose ldap - courier-imap for my pop3/imap server and i manage to install the 2 server .. as we know courier-imap is a maildir..right im having a problem to activate the maildir... any idea on how to enable the postfix to received maildir mail.. and what is the basic config.. im running ldap/ courier-imap.. thanks.

To have postfix deliver to Maildir mailboxes you need to edit your main.cf file to include the following parameter:

home_mailbox = Maildir/

It is important to have the trailing slash otherwise you will end up with regular mbox format mailboxes in your $HOME/Maildir file not maildir directories.

thank's for reply.. i really appreciate.. actually i already do that.. but the problem my pop3 server is failed to authenticate the user.. im using ldap/courier-imap..

this is the error:

Jul 9 11:37:07 owel pop3d: LOGIN FAILED, ip=[::ffffIP)]

any idea on how to solved it..

do u think i can also used ldap/courier-imap for my pop3 server.. or courier-imap is for imap only... if ever i can used ldap/courier-imap for pop3... any idea or could u give me
some idea on how to enable it.. or any documentation about the configuration.
