Mailer messages from different virtual domains

We have a Redhat Linux server and running Postfix.
We are running 8 different domains on the server.
The server has a default domain eg. domain1.com

Everything works well until the server sends out an error message as a result of a full mailbox or other issue - this error notification goes out under the default domain.

How do we configure Postfix to send error messages from the domain that the email was destined to?

How are you generating the error messages? Are you doing this with a quota checking program?
