MFD scan to e-mail??

What do I need to do with Exch 2007 to get it to work with the 'Scan to e-mail' functionality, it was working via relay using the original Exch 2000 server but this has died and I've had to change the AV routing to the new Exch 2007 so e-mail is flowing but the MFD's cannot communicate with the GAL on the new server.

I've tried to create a new inbound route from the 2 static IPs of the MFD's and removed any AD security and allowed anon authentication on this route but still nothing.

I'm providing holiday cover for the person who put it in and am trying to come to grips with the slight change between 2000 and 2007....

We have alot of digital sending devices and this is how I set up my EX07 server to allow them to send email .
