We use an NEC SV9100 phone system, which was previously configured to send voicemail messages to our Gmail accounts via InMail SMTP. However, this functionality broke recently when Google began enforcing OAuth, which the SV9100 does not support.
I work at a small technical school that uses Google Workspace for Education, so all staff have Gmail addresses under our domain (ourdomain.edu). The SV9100 was using a Gmail account to handle SMTP for voicemail delivery.
I'm looking for a workaround. Would it be feasible to set up an external email account—outside of Gmail—with SMTP support to relay voicemail messages to our domain's Gmail accounts?
Any advice would be appreciated!
