Netscape Files Icons Turned Generic

I use Win 98 Se & Netscape Navigator 7.1. Suddenly today, all Netscape (Mozilla) icons changed to generic icons. The files still recognize Netscape as their parent program, but it looks terrible, and I'm worried that other icons may change as well.
I used Norton Utilities to scan for problems -- nothing. I tried using Tweaku to rebuild icons -- no help. Any ideas?

Increase your Icon cache size, and repair the associations. Here is a site for .reg files to handle both issues:

I downloaded the reg files for repairing icons & cache. I used 'em. I restarted the computer, went back to edit file type, and still the "change icon" option is greyed out. Only the generic icon is available.

Am I doing something wrong?
