I am having trouble getting to the command line in OTM. I have tried the station admin and sync'ed with no errors, but cannot get into the overlay. Says cannot connect. Username and password have not changed.

Is there something with TTY or ELAN that needs to be reset on the switch side? Thanks

What software version is your Meridian system?. I've got some 3.0 and 4.0 customers whereby I have to do a warmstart once in a while to restore OTM access again if it's via the Ethernet.

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

Are you able to make changes to phones etc through the OTM?
When you get to the command line what do you get when you press enter and have you tried putting in the login and password manually?

It's an Option 11. It doesn't give me an error when I do a retrieve on the sync. This is a system that I rarely get into and I can't currently get in to check the version.

Once I select the system in OTM, I try to open the overlay terminal. It prompts for the user and password (which is already populated) and then I try to connect. It then says cannot connect to system. There is no physical terminal at this site for me to get on either. The very few times I have accessed this system have all been through this PC. The PC has network connectivity and everything else. I just don't know enough about the ELAN stuff to know if there is something to reset that would fix this.

How do I do a warm start? Thanks again guys.

From memory there is a patch that will allow the release of the PTY/ELAN sessions correctly as it looks like your OTM is not closing those, once it gets to it's max if you haven't got PDT level/access your only option is to INI/WarmStart the Option 11 to drop sessions and also clear all other stuff

Cheers!!
