Hi All,
I have recent purchased and installed CE8 and have problems with the both the pageserver and the output services. Both services seem to be running fine in the NT Service Control Panel item and the Crystal Configuration Manager, but if I view the services in the Crystal Management Console the two services are deemed as if they are not running and an error has occurred.
As a result of these two services not running, the sample reports that come with CE8 are not running as well. I get the following error:
"There are no Page Servers connected to the Cache Server or all the connected Page Servers are disabled. Please try to reconnect later. [On Page Server: <computer_name>.cacheserver]"
The Crystal Reports knowledge base has this problem documented but the fix doesn't seem helpful at all (i.e., please make sure that the Crystal Page Server service is running).
I am running Win2K Server with a PIII 866 CPU and 256MB Ram.
Any help or words of wisdom will be thoughtfully consumed!

Thanks in advance.
