I've just upgraded my Mac Power PC beige G3 from OS 8.1 to OS 8.6.
I'm having problems with existing files in Pagemaker 6.5.
1. When I try to print an 11X17 layout Pagemaker will crash. I can access the same file over an Ethernet connection with my other G3 (still running OS 8.1) and the pages print fine.
I can print Pagemaker layouts smaller than 11X17 on the OS 8.6 machine.
2. I have an 8 page "Master" layout that I duplicate each week. It is has graphics on column headings that remain the same. It is linked to text files in Works that change weekly. Normally, text from the linked files would just flow into the layout. Since the OS 8.6 upgrade, when I click on "Link," MacLink Plus 9.0 intervenes and translates my existing Works 3.0 text file into DOS Works 4.2. After that, the imported text has lost the formatting it had in Works 3.0.
This didn't happen before the OS upgrade. What is causing MacLink Plus to get involved?
